I just received a text message from my brother - his daughter has been born!

Her name is Sarah Jasmin (wow, we were actually right about the "Sarah" bit!), her time of birth was 8:57 p.m., she's 53 cm tall and weighs 3.690 grams. Both the baby and her mother are alright.

A few days ago, my mother and I were just joking about the fact that it really was time - my brothers and I all were born prematurely, and Sarah's due date had come closer and closer; she was born approx. 1 1/2 weeks too early, which, in our family, practically counts as being super-special late.

Wow. I'm actually an aunt. I still don't know how I feel about that.
