Business trips suck when you've got to get up at 6:15 to make it in time. Urgh. And all for 35 minutes of a totally redundant presentation about a totally redundant survey we'll soon have to subject ourselves to. Which, we were told, is by the way voluntary (the survey, not our presence today). Furthermore I should have kept my mouth shut and not been too... well, vocal how little thought-out I thought the whole concept was. On the other hand, I didn't fall asleep, so all in all it went better than I'd feared.
Oh, and I've just ordered "Captain James Cook" on DVD, the miniseries produced in 1987 that ran in Germany under the name of "Wind und Sterne". I loved that miniseries, and I thought I'd never get it from anywhere since it was listed on none of the Amazon pages. I'll now get it from Australia which seems to be the only country that has it still in stock. The DVDs plus VAT won't be exactly cheap, but I... well, I couldn't restrain myself. ;-)
God, I love this song ("Come, now is the Time to Worship"; as performed by Brian Doerksen and Wendy Whitehead); it's on continuous play in WinAmp now. <smile>
