Gaming Lessons:
1. Dragons come color-coded. And blue means "fizzle-bizzle-brrrr"... that is, electricity.
2. Blue Dragons are dangerous, even when pocket-sized. And have a filthy laugh.
3. Paranoia may mean you get intimately acquainted with the local fauna lining the path at regular intervals, but it cannot save you from the danger you foolishly decided to brave.
4. Forewarned is not always forearmed.
5. Having healing spells at your disposal is pointless if the person you would have wanted to save is unharmed one second, and dead the next. Duh.
6. Setting out to combat the powers of darkness in an adventure titled "The Temple of Elemental Evil" feels a lot like you just decided to quit paying into your retirement fund.
