In about an hour or so my father should arrive here. Tomorrow, we'll be going on vacation; Egypt, here we come! I can't wait to see the pyramids, Kairo, the Red Sea. I still don't feel very vacation-y, but I'm sure that'll change on the plane tomorrow. One week of summer, sun and tangible history.

I just hope the Egyptians don't suddenly decide to threaten the tourists in their country, just because Bush managed to alienate the whole muslim world...
