I got PMS today, and in a severity I haven't felt for quite a long time; I was all for curling up in a corner and screaming in pain. I had to leave work at 3:15 p.m. despite that meaning I'll have to stay about two hours longer at a later date to catch up, but I was barely able to think. I then took a painkiller and was ready to sob in relief when it finally started working. Unfortunately, about now, the effects seem to be wearing off.

I hate painkillers, but just this time, I'm willing to fall to my knees and praise their existence.

Damn this time of the month anyway.
