Perhaps some of you remember -- a few months ago, I kept moaning that my Rocket eBook was behaving strangely, and that I either wanted to throw it into the next corner, or exchange it for a fully functional one. Not that any of these options had any appeal, but still...

Heck, I even phoned the sole remaining support hotline in the US, and they nicely told me that since I did not live in the US, there wasn't anything they could do. And no, there was no way to re-install the OS on the eBook. Grrr.

Anyway, I kept asking stupid questions on the 'net, and someone pointed me towards Rocket eBook Site - Software Downloads. Where -- oh, the wonders! -- there is actually an updated version of the Rocket eBook's firmware. Which I downloaded, installed, and, lo and behold: Everything once again works perfectly well!

I'm ecstatic.
