PDA and computer. Wah.

The REB 1100 is not working out as I hoped because I seem to be having problems with correctly installing the software as well as with finding out how to directly upload files from my PC to the device. But at the moment that isn't my main concern -- that is, once again, my dear computer.

By now it freezes after about four hours once I've booted it for the first time, with the interval getting shorter every time I reboot. My guess is that it's a failure of the D:\ drive.

The TARGA support will fetch my computer (for the third -- or is it already the forth time since I bought it in January 2002?) to test it and hopefully a) find and b) repair the damage. Which means, this time, I'll have to send it in in its entirety. With the D:\ drive. Meaning I won't be able to transfer all my data to the second harddrive, and then dismantle and keep it like I did the previous times. No, this once I'll have to secure all data to CD.

My desk's already overflowing with burnt CDs. *sigh*

Disregarding this... this... this annoyance, I've just spent a fun weekend with my mother who came to see me on Saturday. We went shopping together (I finally found the skirt and tops I've always wanted), saw "Finding Nemo" (God, I loved the sea gulls! Hilarious!) and went to the zoo in W. I hope we'll repeat this soon.

Still -- on Tuesday, it'll be bye-bye, computer. For another two weeks. Then I'll have to go to the internet café every other day because of the damned overload of spam I keep experiencing. My inbox will overflow otherwise. I. Hate. SPAM. And whoever sends it.
