I read it in one sitting and stayed up WAAAY too late to do so but i just couldn't put it down, you know what i mean?
Yes, I do. And wow, that's the first time one of my stories managed what usually those I read tend to do to me! *g*
You have a priceless way with internal monologue-- seriously, i almost spit coffee on my monitor.
Harry is pretty much a big dork. And a girl, too.
I tried to keep him as far away from the mush as I could, but he insisted on at least being allowed to be cute... ;-)
The plotline is fascinating. I am a big Buffy fan, although i've been out of it for a while, and I agree with luvmeanddespair-- it's nice to see them, and you work the story so well! Willow's magic is HELLa more powerful, in some ways, and your explanations are nothing short of brilliant. Raise the dead? Sure, we can do that. No body? Weelll, okay. Really really good stuff here! And, Giles is ♥
Thanks! For at least the last two months, I've been totally enthralled by BtVS-centric crossover fanfic, and that helped ressurect my love for the show that had waned a lot with the events of its last two seasons. Buffy's treatment of Spike can still make me foam at the mouth, so let's... let's move on.
As for Giles, he is a bit prejudiced, and once he makes up his mind, he knows no quarter. Of course, he also defends Buffy fiercely. I loved him more in the show's earlier seasons, but BtVS wouldn't be BtVS without him.
I love that you detailed this out-- so very important, so very gorgeous. I forget this-- the newness. Glad that you didn't, because it's incredibly sensual. I could quote the rest of the sex back at you *g* suffice to say, it was stunning. i had the whole deer in the headlights thing going on. You win at life! tenderness, hesitancy, and when Bob cried at the end of it all... i was a little shellhocked, too. Beautiful.
Thanks. :::blushes:::
It's so hard writing tasteful sex, so I detailed lots of touching and kind of skipped over the most graphic stuff.
I so wanted to write at least one chapter from Bob's point of view. I wanted to explain how he felt, how overwhelmed, how helpless, how much like a stranger in a strange land, but due to the set POV, I couldn't. I cursed it a lot, but Harry, while he wasn't able to witness everything, was there for the most important stuff. And - it helped Bob.
Your Harry!voice- Guh!

And Bob!Voice!
Hehe. ;-)
I hope that you aren't burnt out and that you continue to write!!
I am a bit burnt out at the moment (especially since I pretty much pushed everything but the story on the backburner, and I need to get caught up!), but I still have 1 (or is that 2?) plotbunnies nibbling at my brain. Damnit, I want to have confirmation that we'll get a second season already! That would be such a rush.
I'm so glad you commented. It really made my day.
