I'm at my parents', so my internet access is limited, plus I've got a serious cold, but despite that, I'm feeling strangely content.

My brother's fiancée has "infected" me with her love of all things sheepworld ("Ohne Dich ist alles doof!"), and therefore:

Merry Christmas, everyone, and a Happy New Year!

I adore Gibbs and DiNozzo together! The head slaps, the whole loyalty thing. The way Tony totally worships Gibbs and Gibbs so totally knows it. Too bad the fic kind of sucks. There are lots of stories that have that OMG I shouldn't be reading this and will be so ashamed if anyone ever finds out I saved this on my harddrive -quality, but haven't read anything that I'd rec without even thinking.

Too bad that seems to be the problem of all the cop shows, NCIS, CSI etc. Lots of fics where the guys are totally OOC and weepy and bathe each other. Weird.

Totally. ksl (aka Katherine from Houston Knights and Mag7 fame) seems to be the only author who doesn't automatically make Tony into the bottom who needs to be disciplined instead of - I don't know - understood or supported. :::growl:::
The rest? Cringeworthy. The amount of cliché-heavy fic that - more often than not - is rife with typos, bad grammar and vocabulary in both central archives is staggering.

Currently, I'm really trying to like Ziva. But events like in "Boxed In" make it a bit difficult.

Plus, my father's computer needs speakers. Right now, I'm hanging onto a set of crappy headphones while hoping that noiseless breathing (not easy with a cold) and an open mouth makes for better understanding of sounds that normally wouldn't wake a mouse.
