Cuddly microbes

Feeling ill? Sore throat, perhaps? Or the flu?

The perpetrators are kind of cuddly. At least at GIANTmicrobesTM resp. RIESENmikrobenTM.

BSE looks rather innocent, doesn't it?

Bwahaha! I spent the last few hours at the reference desk in great self-pity because I have a sore throat and feel ill, then I sit down on my own desk for lunch break, go to lj and this is the first thing I read... :-D

I own the dustmite, it sits on my bookshelf. *g*

I can read thoughts, didn't you know that? *eg*

I hope you'll feel better soon! (And yes, now I have instant flashbacks to Miracles' pilot episode and the young boy with the healing touch who used those words while literally making the person he touched feel better... I have introduced you to Miracles, right? Because if not, that needs to be rectified. Soon.)

Ah, anyway. Dustmite. Does it really have eight legs?! And does it have a name? *g*

Yes, you introduced me to Miracles. :-)

*goes off to count legs* Yes, it indeed has eight and it's quite cute. ;-) I never thought of giving it a name, actually... do you have an idea for one? ;-)

You went looking through your icons to find the most microbe-like one, didn't you? *g*

I still have my Miracles-enabler hat lying around somewhere gathering dust, so the question was inevitable...

As for names, urgh. Don't ask me. My third rabbit didn't even have one - because it turned out to be male, and my name-giving capacities had already been taxed to the max with finding one for the female we first thought him to be. As long as you don't call the poor thing "Dusty"...

;-P

Sehen die nicht ein bißchen langweilig aus? So ganz eiförmig und rot?

;-)

The kissing disease hatte einfach zu niedliche Wimpern.
