I'm late to the show as always, but what the fuck?! Why do I have to deal with huge, layout-destroying ads on my basic account pages now?!

Oh, wait. It was because lj decided to fuck with its non-paying users again (as "explained" here, here, and here). They are the unwashed masses who don't contribute anyway, so why should they have ad-free livejournals in the first place?

I can't log in at work. Which means that my lj is pretty much undecipherable there, because the huge vertical ad at the right bottom corner squishes the layout so much that the first 50% of my entries get overlaid by the sidebar. Great.
