Ich muss gestehen, dass das Fantasy Film Festival echt nix für mich is', weil ich so der riesengroße Angsthase bin. Wenn ein Film auch nur a bisserl gruselig ist, kann ich'n mir schon nimmer angucken. Und ich kann mir auch so Zeugs mit viel blood & gore oder Zombies net angucken. Ich bin eigentlich nie beim FFF dabei. o.O
Falls ihr euch vielleicht aber irgendeinen anderen nicht-FFF Film angucken wollt', wär' das was anderes! *g*
Aber hey, wenn sonst was Gutes kommt, bin ich sicher auch nicht abgeneigt! Irgendwelche Ideen?
Irgendeinen Nicht-FFF-Film sollten wir doch finden, der uns "Alternativen" zusagt, oder?! :-)
Der Zombie-Fan namens Katja weilt Ende August in Kanada und der Zombie-Fan namens Tina ist dann erst einen Tag oder so wieder aus Seoul zurück. Diese Jahr ist von dieser Seite aus eh bis dato nix für's FFF geplant, soweit ich informiert bin.
Aber ja, wenn's irgendeinen anderen Film gibt, der sich anschaubar anhört, bin ich dabei! :o)
And of course I still look like the girl in your animation! :-P
Somehow, even with my swiss cheese memory regarding faces, I should also still be able to pick YOU out of a crowd!
We could put this to the test at the upcoming Fantasy Film Fest, what do you think? ;-)

Aside from that, I've just read through all the summaries for the movies that'll be presented at the Fantasy Film Fest, and boy, it gets worse every year. I don't want to watch serial killers, gore fests, or zombies, and there. Simply. Is. Not. A. Single. Normal. Fantasy. Movie. In the whole bunch, so I'm not all that certain we'll actually see each other. There isn't even a single anime!
I could imagine watching "The Sky Crawlers", "Push" or "Largo Winch", but I definitely won't go out of my way to make it into either movie. But perhaps we could combine one of them with a mainstream movie and/or dinner, so who knows?

Awww, no. You gotta be kidding me - you can't NOT come, too. And again, if there are decent mainstream movies at that time, I'm all for it. I just haven't heard anything so far.

A colleague mentioned it, that's why I'm all over it so early. And since I didn't have time to sit down and carefully read the descriptions yet, I only have "Carriers" (Opening Night) on my wish list. And maybe this Korean "Hansel & Gretel" movie if I can take flextime that day. ;-)
