Status update re: cats:

a) Yuki still has the 'flu and is still doing her impression of Darth Vader - only smaller and more furry.

b) My mycosis has decided to flare up again... which proves that the medication prescribed by the dermatologist is utter crap and said dermatologist is apparently an incompetent. Why the fuck did he test the fungus in the first place if not in order to find something that's, I don't know, effective against it?! Thankfully, my mother has taken charge, bought another fungicide (without cortison this time, since it apparently weakens the skin - which doesn't exactly help it heal) plus some stuff that's so toxic I have to slap it on in the shower, dose myself in it from neck to toes before I go to bed, and shower it off again in the morning. Urgh. I feel like a giant lab project.

c) The spots and the whitish scab in Elena's right ear prove - how not surprised am I to have it confirmed by the vet today? - that now she has mycosis as well. Duh. Thank you, universe. I love you so very much, too.
Massaging fungicide into Elena's ear twice a day? Should be so much fun. And totally easy, too. /sarcasm

d) Try feeding echinacea to cats in order to stimulate their immune systems. Pills, even cut into tiny chunks and hidden inside kitty treats? Get spit out more often than swallowed. While of course the treats disappear like magic. Liquid mixed into milk? Gets their noses turned up at. Yay!
Next stop is nose drops and acetylcysteine for Yuki. Getting the former into her should be a piece of cake, too. /sarcasm, again

My boss was just inches away from disinfecting the memo I handed him today. I need someone to rant at at work, and he got the honors. Now he's a bit freaked out, the poor guy. Whatever.

I want this shit to be over, damn it. It's like the fucking Neverending Story, and I'm sick and tired of it.
