In an instant of luck I'm not going to question, I actually managed to get two whole weeks (!) around Christmas and New Year off, and am currently staying at my parents'. My mother is babying the cats, and my father has taken over the kitchen (the Christmas menue is the only meal each year that he is proud to go all out for).

Now that almost all of my Christmas mail - virtual and otherwise - is on its way (by the way, mabiana, has your eCard made it to you? You can play my guinea pig. If it hasn't, then the card site in question is made of fail and I need to do it again!) - save for, again, your paper Christmas card, mabiana, for reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture. You'll see. *g*
