Were you on drugs, Tom?!

So, it's done.

I finally watched the finale of "Oz". Anticlimatic. Perhaps I've read too many spoilers. But most likely, I just didn't recognize the characters anymore. Who were the men I watched on screen tonight? They felt like a bunch of strangers, they acted like strangers. Were those the same people I suffered with through six seasons? 56 episodes? Almost 56 hours of my life? More, in fact, since I watched part of the episodes several times? I sure as hell couldn't see the reason why.

Damn Tom Fontana for fucking up a wonderful series and turning it into a mere parody of itself.

I. Just. Don't. Care. Anymore.

I think I'm glad most of the main players are dead now. I even wished Beecher had died, too, then it would really have been good riddance for bad bullshit.

How the heck did we go from love to insanity? How did "dying for you" turn into "dying just to spite you"? Well, that teaches us viewers never to care too deeply for a series. Because in the end, we'll just -- how did Toby phrase it? "get fucked up the ass."

Right.

Life is indeed ironic
Heh. I saw my first episode of Oz Wednesday, and got immediately hooked. I'd come across it flipping channels before, but Wednesday's was the first episode I watched till the end. It was the first time I saw Beecher and Keller. And, man! Just... the heat. It was the first episode of Season 4, the one I think your icon originates from, and it just absolutely fried my brain. Soo hot. *shivers at the memory*

I am sad to hear that it fizzles out. So many series do that, it really sucks. The fans should take over ;)

Hi Amara! <waves>

Ahem... you're the Amara I still owe at least two e-mails, right? Ah. Hmm. Well. ;-)
I'll try to do better, I promise!

Anyway, I know what you mean. The chemistry between Beecher and Keller was just astounding once they got over... ok, I won't say anything. *g* It's better if I don't spoil your fun. Try to catch all episodes and watch them in order! Just forget the last season ever existed. Believe me, it's better that way. I'll try to wipe even the knowledge the series had a 6th Season out of my brain.

If you need story recs, just mail me. I should be able to answer that, at least. If not, please bombard me with reminders. Daily. That should definitely work. ;-)

The emailgoblin will be after you otherwise ^..^ No worries, I know how hectic RL can get, to the point where one has simply no inspiration or energy to reply. Don't stress :)

I'm reading 'Let's give them something to talk about' at the moment, which is an AU (and a very nice one), but if you know any good stories set in canon... :)
