On Monday, my old boss called me and invited me to see him and his wife in three weeks' time, on Sunday 25th. I'm a tad bit uncomfortable. I like him very much (he's the best superior officer I ever had), but I suffer from hopeless forgetfulness wherever the particulars of his family, vacations, interests etc. are concerned... and I fear I might put my foot in it when we get talking, trying to catch up. Why can I remember even the most outrageous plot twists in any given story in any given fandom I've ever read, but not the personal details of the persons I care about? Is there something like selective Alzheimer?
Another two stories of mine are in beta right now, thanks to John; a HP/SS ficlet and story no. #3 in my "Discovering Things out of Darkness" story arc (Miracles). I hope I'll be able to post both no later than the end of the week.
