I read these news at work today and was soon seething. Does the unabashedness of the Bush government know no boundaries?

Funniest (if one appreciates gallows humor) is definitely the news about the stolen cultural assets in Iraq. Yeah, it definitely is imperative to relentlessly pursue the theft of these treasures... when you let them get stolen right under your nose while standing by and doing nothing, like the American GIs and their command staff did in Bagdad. Somehow I also doubt the seriousness of these solemn reassurances; it looks far more like an effort to pacify the international critics who're less than thrilled by America's casual disregard of treasures at least ten times older than their very own country. But then, Bush and his cronies have long since proved that they care shit about international critique.

The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Sixth Level of Hell - The City of Dis!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
Take the Dante's Inferno Hell Test
By the way, I wholeheartedly recommend a piece of historical original fiction, 'Where Light in Darkness lies' by HyacinthMacaw, she of 'As the Falcon hath her Bells', a Hermione/Snape romance story. Yeah, I do read adult non-slash stories now and then. When they're good. And when I'm desperate. <goes hide in a corner>
