The weekend was all Querstrich meet, "Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith", and, predictably, "Stargate: Atlantis" (what else?). And of course talking about our plan for world domination. Really.

The meet consisted of more or less the usual suspects at mamoru22's place, plus a few newcomers, in short there were mamoru22, xkatjafx, mareen, lovis, trobadora, kriski, esda, jassanja, ten_chan, i_am_schizo, ridicully and, well, me *g*. Unfortunately, _bettina_ and temve couldn't come, and I missed gwendolen, moonilicious and mabiana.

Since I'm too lazy and tired right now to type up what happened in detail, I'll simply cop out by linking to the others' lj entries here, here and here.

They found an old US aviator bomb from the 2nd World War across the street from work today. I was lucky enough to be able to leave while they were waiting for the explosive ordnance disposal unit; they cordoned off about four or five blocks.

When I stepped outside for lunch I passed about 10 m by the truck they'd dumped the bomb on during construction work, and had then only realized what it was.

This shit is still around hidden underneath pavement, streets, houses. Let's hope none of those things ever blows up in a populated area.
