Whew! What is it with December and birthdays?! I hope you all managed some kind of celebration that didn't all get swallowed up entirely by Christmas and/or New Year's Eve, and are now a) happily petting your favorite present(s), b) getting over being stuffed to the gills with too much too delicious tasting food, and/or c) no longer tipsy. *g*

I, sadly, had to change my plans for New Year's Eve at the east coast due to the friggin' cold not leaving me alone, but the party with friends I did go to was pretty great as well, and the new year - considering the likelihood of us hitting another power cable while drilling the wall in order to hang my new tea shelf - is rather looking up. Right? Right? Right?! Waaaaiiit! I wanted to knock on wood! I really wanted to!
