... but my (long overdue) homepage update is finally done! Take a look at Storyteller's Campsite, if you want.
But... I had to use my parents' (and later, when I was frustrated enough to scream) my brother's computer since I went to see them this weekend. I guess my old computer (the one I 'abandoned' three weeks ago once I'd bought myself a new one (2 GHz and 80 GB, hehe)) still holds a grudge. My brother used its processor and several other parts to upgrade my father's old one. Which only seems to work once my father uses it. My father has lost all his former reservations about the idea and now loves the fact that his scanner is connected to a USB port and therefore three times as fast as before.
Whereas the computer evidently recognizes me. And tells me in no uncertain terms that it's less than happy. Most of the times, I don't even get past the anti-virus scan before the damn thing dies on me. Black screen, keyboard doesn't work -- reboot. And again. And again.
Aaargh!!!
But now, all should work. Including the counter for which I'd at first accidentially used the wrong code. When it suddenly stood at "7" (!), I screamed again. And re-checked the hmtl-editing.
Ok, it's late, I'm babbling, all links should be functional.
'Night. :-)))

I've always said computers are sentient beings.
And possess a strange kind of humor. ;-)
