The doctor managed to see to me in record time this morning (I was almost an hour earlier at work than usual, and everybody blinked in confusion) and prescribed the dreaded antibiotic I'd already thought I'd get. <sigh> Great. I don't like to take it. Your body builds up a tolerance to a specific antibiotic so it won't work when you're later given it in a true emergency like surgery etc. Still, it's better than an infection of the middle ear, I guess. So I'll swallow my little pills faithfully. Hmpf.
Shortly after noon, I finally managed to reach the distribution center of the GPS in M.; they told me they couldn't contact the courier already dispatched to deliver my package (read: computer), but if he didn't reach me at home, he'd try again the next day. Lovely. I gave them my work address. It's hopelessly cumbersome to get something delivered there since there's the small fact that no one can get past the guards who'll then have to call my phone extension and chase me down to the gate to sign for the package. But I NEED MY COMPUTER! Preferably RIGHT NOW!
