Ok, I give up. It's no use. I can't get online. Heaven knows why. I called the T-Online support hotline and managed to go on the 'net for perhaps 15 minutes before the connection broke, and I wasn't able to re-establish it (something must have been wrong with that anyway; I can't remember needing to establish a LAN first the last time I did that spiel). Anyway, this night will be horribly short, and my mood has just about hit rock bottom. Stupid me first installed all other programs before facing the far harder challenge of creating a remote data transmission connection, so all this day's work was for nothing.

And. It. Doesn't. Work.

I could cheerfully kill someone right now. Instead, I'll go and run the recovery version of ME so I can start fresh from scratch tomorrow.
