An update on the neighbor situation:

I just concluded a household contents insurance and spoke to my janitor who promised to check my door for the next few weeks (whether it's still standing :-( ). Evidently the guy and the janitor's sister just broke up and pretty much the whole family thinks he's a prick and won't understand reason unless it's beaten into his thick skull. They said to call the police again if this instance wasn't enough.

*So* not surprising.

Need to dye my hair now. Have to leave in less than two hours. Argh.
