So, alyjude is sideburns. Once again, I feel pretty stupid, but kind of stumped, too. Why does a quite well-known author do something like this? First Speranza ("due South") turned out to be Francesca ("The Sentinel"), then Brenda Antrim (various fandoms) 'outed' herself as being Seeker ("Harry Potter").

Well, I definitely don't write enough to ever try to do the same. I'm glad about any story I manage to finish and put up on my homepage (kind of a justification why I maintain the site at all). Besides, it'd make me feel like I suffered from multiple personality disorder. Well, more than we all already do, due to trying to keep our real and our fannish life separate, I guess.

Anyway, I should have recognized the style. Once again, I didn't. Gah.

LOL I used to write FPS with one nick and RPS (yeah yeah, whatever) with another, and then one day my old beta sent my RPS nick feedback and I nearly went all cuckoo...

It's strange on this side of the fence as well.

After all the hooblah about changing names everywhere, I can understand some people being paranoid about names or usernames.

On a totally unrelated tangent -- what about your B5 novel? Any new chapters? Want a new Sinclair/Garibaldi fix. Yeah!

It's become bad enough, all of it, that I've found myself surfing the 'net today on the hunt for an EarthForce uniform. Duh. Can you say pathetic?

Rumors are fun! Yes they are, even though I'm probably the second to last to hear them.

My fic... Gods the fic! I've been so messed up with the Snarry that I've neglected everything else. But will definitely work on the B5 novel! The second part of the thing only needs better sex and some polishing and it's done.

And I find buying an EarthForce uniform a cool idea! Bought myself a Ranger pin the other year, so should probably get a Ranger uniform instead, but it's still cool!

Hey, more Snarry isn't half bad, either! (I'm no longer active in that fandom, but of course I'd make an exception for your fic *g*... which would be part 3 of your series, right?)

It's strange to find out something like this. I don't understand the changing of nicknames, but then, I sorta did it myself. My pen name used to be Skyline, but over time I found my way back to my real name. It's just so much easier for me.

It was before Querstrich, back when I still was into Sentinel. I got into another fandom, didn't write and by the time I started writing again (in yet another fandom) I didn't feel like using my pseudonym anymore. I already had my LJ, everyone knew me as Bettina and it would have been weird to use Skyline. The only place I still use it is the letter zine Talk Straight.
