Tomorrow, together with two colleagues, we'll invite everyone at the office to cake, tea and coffee to celebrate our birthdays.
Which means I'll have go bake said cakes now... and since Martin's present at my first birthday party in A. was a book full of recipes for delicious chocolate cakes, I'm not really complaining about the baking marathon. Yumm.
Furthermore, I just ordered "Captain James Cook", the mini-series, in Australia since there seems to be the last company word-wide which still offers said movies on DVD.
I loved that mini-series. Okay, that was in my pre-slash days, but I still remember how much I liked Cook's First and Second Lieutenant, and just how damned attractive they were, so I won't rule out slash at all. There was some delicious conflict in the third (?) movie, and hey, sailslash! More delightful sailslash!
Too bad Cook's voyages were before Hornblower's time. No crossover. Damn.
edit 1: The DVD company, Total DVD Australia, requires an awful lot of documentation for overseas customers. If anyone should ask for such, it should be me - after all, the last order of that DVD from another source left me without the amount paid as well as without the DVD. Duh.
edit 2: Whoever wrote the baking recipes book must have baked cakes for midgets. Both cakes are far too flat and look like they need to grow up still. Argh. Plus I burnt most of the white chocolate.
Some days are not deserving of getting up for.
