Don't use a metal fork to fish for your bread in the toaster. Or else there'll be a popping sound, a spark, a burnt smell... and a fork with one prong significantly shorter than the others. Plus a burnt fuse. Duh.

A long long time ago, I used a knife to get something out of the toaster that was stuck. The toaster died, but the knife survived *g*

And well, the point is: You could use the fork or the knife - but you have to make the sure the toaster is off ; )

Ich brauch eigentlich einfach nur eine GIGANTISCHE Festplatte (aber müsste mal gucken, wieviel MB mein "altes" (naja, fast 2 Jahre ist ja alt) Mainboard zulässt. Damals konnte man da noch nicht alles reinstöpseln Oo;

(In der einen Viewfinder-Fanfiction (Mangafandom).... eigentlich waren es sogar zwei Geschichten aber in der einen war es kein Speiseeis sondern es waren Eiswürfel... ehm... also jedenfalls hatte der uke (bottom) es dann an einer bestimmten Stelle stecken...)

hö. Das war eins von mehreren Sicherheitshinweisen, die ich als Kind von meiner Mutter bekommen habe.

Der andere, den ich nie wieder vergessen habe: Beim Mixer erst die Mixstäbe rein, dann erst den Strom einschalten, nicht umgekehrt. Meine Mutter hatte da auch so nette Stories von blutigen, gebrochenen, kaputten Kinderfingern.
