Well, it seems that this is the season for electric appliances to hate me...
Since yesterday, my boiler works again. The repairman came in the morning, took it apart, cleaned it and fit it together again, amazingly without forgetting a single screw. I kept blinking and was deeply impressed at the way he transformed it from one unit into tiny little pieces and vice versa. Supposedly it broke down due to lack of water and nitrogen. Let's hope that's true and it won't fail again.
Yesterday evening, I couldn't help but wonder why my milk was so warm all of a sudden when I took it out of the fridge. Duh. Fridge is broken.
They tell me I won't get it repaired any sooner than Oct 7th. Great. Wonderful. Two weeks without milk, butter, sausage, cheese etc. should be fun.
:::shakes fist at fridge:::
At least the freezer unit is still working.
Oh no, now I jinxed it!
:::peers cautiously into the kitchen:::
