Having kittens, anyone?!

My mother wants me to get a cat. A Chartreux cat to be exact. A colleague of hers breeds them and is willing to give her a kitten for free, and my mother thinks I need something purring, cuddly, pettable and calm.

Would anyone of you be willing to take it over a weekend now and then? Supposedly they travel well, don't demand a lot of attention and are perfectly willing to laze around all day.

Oh, and they are blue.

Yes, it's that breed.

Wenn ich mal in Mainz wohne, ist das sicher kein Problem das Vieh ab und zu zu nehmen :D Vorausgesetzt halt, ich bin an dem Wochenende selbst daheim (also in Mainz) *tropf*.

Hey, das wäre ja super! Das mit dem "was mach ich denn mit der Katze, wenn ich kurzfristig über das Wochenende wegfahre und vorher nicht bei meinen Eltern bin?" war gerade der Punkt, der mir am meisten Kopfzerbrechen bereitet hat.

Am nächsten Wochenende machen meine Mutter und ich eine Katzenbesichtigung bei der Züchterin. Wenn die wirklich klein, süß und maunzend sind, ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit sehr hoch, daß ich ab Ostern Katzenbesitzerin bin...
