well, he said that despite disliking Kavanagh more than anyone, he thought torture was wrong, didn't he? I would have like to have seen him jump in anger at even considering it, but when you've got to decide between letting space vampires eat your planet or blowing up in smithereens, I guess he wasn't feeling as judgmental as usual when it came to listing options.

This episode was all around disappointing in that sense. By the end of season two I felt the only sane character was Teyla. The only one who you even got an inkling had objections about the way everything was decided (let's not forget the Michael thing, ok? again, experimenting on prisoners is as bad as the torture thing, and yeah, not the same cause space vampires, but you get my point), with Rodney at a close second. I need to, I'd like to believe despite canon suckiness, that they are the moral compasses fandom makes them out to be. I wouldn't want to even watch the show, otherwise.
