Actually, I can deal with 'baby', depending on the pairing of course, but 'sweetheart' totally weirds me out. Probably due to all the Candy Apple Sentinel fics I used to read when I was still young and stupid.

Da ich über Episode 1x02 immer noch nicht hinausgekommen bin, sage ich zu der Serie offiziell eigentlich immer noch nichts, aber inoffiziell konnte ich Pairings wie Christian/Matt ohnehin nie verstehen (jetzt erst recht nicht, da ich gespoilt bin, hehe), und war in den ersten Tagen nach dem Pilotfilm ganz schön enttäuscht, daß niemand Sean/Christian geschrieben hat.

So, nein, ich habe Candys Stories gelesen, weil sie die ersten mit dem Pairing waren, die mir je untergekommen sind. Daß Christians "ich-wurde-als-Kind-mißbraucht" und "der-Carver-hat-mich-vergewaltigt" Erlebnisse anscheinend Canon sind, beeindruckt mich immer noch.

Irgendwann einmal muß ich mir die Serie endlich anschauen...

Well, that's more an issue of the author than of the show (as far as I know, anyway). Candy is brilliant with drama ("The Secret Life of J.J. Rush"), but the sugar-coating over most of her stories is sometimes too much.

And better keep quiet about ideas like combining "gagging" and "chainsaw" - as far as I know, the show is fucked up enough to come up with something along those lines. I'll just say "penis" and "botox"... *eg*

I certainly have read too many spoilers. My bad.
