The happy side to paradox-free time travel is that whenever Skynet sends back a Terminator to change the future, it's futile. Skynet is defeated forever in the timeline that the T1 Kyle Reese came back from and defeated forever again in the timeline that the TX and T-850 in T3 came back from. And I *think* Skynet was defeated in the timeline that the T-1000 came back from, but I'm not sure if the 1000 was sent back to stop Skynet being defeated.
It's just easier to deal with when you ignore all the paradoxes by saying that time travel creates new futures (hopefully better ones!) instead of changing one single future.
